Hi Y'all!!!

I'm Stacy Brady and proud to be an American Made Rodeo Drill Team member. I have always wanted to be on a drill team since I was a teenager and finally did in Sept. of 1998. I started out riding a black & white paint named, "What's Up Doc". Doc was 21 years young at the time I joined the team. We learned a lot from each other doing drill. Doc & I had some great times performing and he especially loved showing off in parades. He would hold his head high and prance like there was no tomorrow!!! I am sorry to say that Doc is greatly missed. He passed away in February 2002.
In Loving Memory, "What's Up Doc". What's Up Doc

In June of 2002, I acquired "Easter Lily" (born March 30th, 1997 on Easter morning). We call her Lily but I tend to call her "Lillers" all the time. Lily is turning 8 years old this year and is an Azteca Paint. Lily was green broke when I got her and has come a long way in the past 3 years. She is a quick learner and is out to please her rider. Lily did AWESOME at the 2003 Cow Palace competition and at the Western States Drill Team Competition in Reno, Nevada in 2004. She drilled like she has done it for years!

This year I am not competiting because my wonderful boyfriend, Dan proposed over the Christmas Holidays! We are getting married in Vegas on June 5th, 2005. Dan is very supportive of my drill team responsibilities & also helps me feed my ponies every day (even though I can't get him to ride one). He is a huge help to this very committed sport of drill that we all love so much.

Currently I am our team Web Master. It has been quite a learning experience and I still have much more to learn. Reminds me how hard the officers work to keep the team together and organized.

Stacy & DeeDee

Some of my favorite past-times are:

  • Trail riding with Lily, my Mom, friends Chris, DeeDee & Chardon
  • Riding my quad at the Oregon sand dunes with my fiance', my family, friends, fellow team members & sponsors
  • And Scrapbooking

In my opinion, I feel that I have joined the best drill team in the West. I couldn't ask for better friends, sponsors and acquaintances that I have met along the way in our drill team journey. And this is only the beginning…

Happy Trails!
