Hi, my name is Haiden Darst and I'm very excited to start my first year on the American Made Rodeo Drill Team.  I have been riding horses since I was 5 years old, when I took over my dads hunting horse.  That forced him to get a horse of his own which started years of fun and excitement.  When I turned 8 I started 4-H and continued until I turned 19 years old.  In addition, I showed Open and Breed horse shows on my own horse, as well as several other people's horses.  One of my big achievements was showing and qualifiying an Andalusian stallion for nationals in Texas.  When I was about 13 I started  competing  at local barrel races and lead me to join the NJRA ( National Junior Rodeo Association ) and that was tons of fun!

During my high school years I rode for Tumwater High School Equestrian Team doing all the games and we also had a 4-man drill team that was unstoppable!

This year I will be drilling on my horse Mahogany Bucks, AKA Mojo.  He is the best horse that I have ever had.  In the past we have gone to horse shows on Saturdays, coming home with high points and then going to a gaming on Sunday and having the fastest time of the day in barrels!  I dont know what I would do without him!

I reside in Olympia, my home-town, with my awesome boyfriend Lemont and my 3 Australian Shepherds, Rebel, Aspen and Abby.  Out of home, I have my horse Krystal who is leased to a 4-H girl, her 2 year old baby Rowdy, and Mojo.

Thank you for welcoming me on the team!
