For over 20 years I've enjoyed drill, barrel racing, and endurance riding. Barbie, my talented Quarter Horse mare, carried me through to most of my successes.
In 2001, she was taken up to horse heaven. Since then I jump on whatever is available.
American Made Drill Team has been my favorite venture. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such passionate team members. We have a "vision" of what we wanted to achieve, which required dedication and perseverance. Our vision was to have a successful rodeo drill team made up of talented and aggressive horses & riders. I consider it an "All Star" team.
We have good leadership that keeps the passion focused on our goal. From that leadership we have achieved championships and have earned countless awards. The thrill of drill and rodeo all wrapped up in one big package!
I have the privilege of riding with both my beautiful daughters
and my life long friends (they are pretty cute too!). I have a dashing son who also enjoys riding. My faithful husband supports me in every aspect of horse ownership. My youngest daughter and her husband have blessed me with the most charming grandson.
The fun road trips, parades, cheering rodeo crowds, banquets, practices, and last but not least, my friends and family, are memories that will sustain me, when I'm too old to ride. I will always cherish them.
