Hi,

I am Kalee Wright. This is my first year drilling with American Made, though I have been involved with the team since my mom Sherri Wright has been member. I am an 18 year old senior at Mossyrock High School and have been riding since before I was born. I ride a half Arab half Quarter Horse named Cotton and we both love to do drill. I also have a younger horse Stella who I have just started on drill though she is mainly my performance horse.

I have drilled before on my high school equestrian team, but decided that I wanted more and joined my mom's team. This is an experience I will never forget and have always wished I could do. I can't wait for the season to begin and am very excited because this will be my first year competing so far a way from home and I am very excited about the prospect of competing in such a large competition like Reno

I am so excited to have joined this team. I have always admired the team as I watched my mom at practices, rodeos, parades, and competitions and wished beyond all wishes to be on the team though I knew the age limit at the time was 21 and I was like way to young. When I was asked If I wanted to join the team I was so excited and couldn't believe I could actually get on because I was only 18. It's like a dream come true I love being on this team and I love all my teammates and cant wait for the rodeos to begin. I have never been able to compete with my mom and am excited at the prospect and hope it will be a great experience. This never would have been possible though if it weren't for my very dear friend and drill master offering to sponsor me riding this year thanks a million Denise love you always.

I love to drill but that is not the only thing I do. I love to compete in performance events like huntseat, stockseat and trail classes. I also have many years of gaming under my belt and have just recently in the past few years added cow events like team penning sorting and steer daubing to the assortment of experiences. I show in 4-H and also in the Equestrian Team. I also love to ride the trails with my pals it is so relaxing for the both of us. Besides riding horses I show our family's registered Polled Herefords.

Kalee is currently on leave attending college. She hopes to return to American Made after college.
