Howdy,
Welcome to my bio and our web site. My name is Petee Hoyt and I am 26 years old, married with 2 rowdy little boys that I adore. Lance is 3 years old and already had his own pony, Savanna. Payton, my youngest son is 1. My husband Jared, is a great support person who is the only reason I am able to continue to drill with our crazy schedules. If I'm not with my family, I'm at work or school (I'm hopefully going to start nursing school next year). You can usually find me with my horses or at the farm that I grew up on getting the property ready to build our dream house! I can't wait to move back home next to my Dad and my sister Lisa, who is also on the team.
My Mom also rides with us and she is the one who instilled the love of horses in me. I think it is also in my blood. I also have a brother,
Clayton who is single, hopefully we can find him a Cowgirl and she can join the drill team also!!!
I have done just about everything there is to do on horses but I must say that drill is by far my favorite. The competition, parades, traveling and all the great friends I have made on this team make all the hard work worth while. This year I have bred my Appaloosa, Cherokee that I have ridden for years and I will be trying out my Mom's young Buckskin mare. It will be a challenge but she is a great horse. Hopefully by Reno 2006, she will be ready.
