My name is Christa Ziegler, and 2010 will be my 3rd year with the American Made Drill Team.

I have three horses, my current drill horse is a ten year old Appaloosa gelding named "Gotta Big Time Grin" aka Shelton, and he certainly has a big time grin. He has quite the personality, and has already won the hearts of many of the drill team members. My second horse is a twelve year old Appaloosa gelding named "Big Time Hot Scotch" aka Bristol. I have owned Bristol since he was three years old, competing in almost everything you can do on horseback including english, western, jumping, gaming, and even some competitive and non-competitive trail riding. My newest horse is a four year old Buckskin Quarter Horse mare named "DS Smart Lil Lady" aka Lady. She is an absolute sweetheart, and will be a great driller someday! I also hope to compete with her in reining and cowhorse events in the future.

I am currently working as the receptionist at 1st Choice Chiropractic in Olympia, Washington, and will be starting massage therapy school this summer. I also play on a roller derby team with fellow team member, Stacy Brady.

I have a boyfriend named Roger who is very supportive of my crazy schedule and I'm not sure what I would do without him! He also rides, and we enjoy many other outdoor activities together such as hunting, camping, snowboarding, and tubing the lakes and rivers in the summer time.

My mom also enjoys riding, and often comes to practice with me to get some extra ride time in. My Dad and younger Brother are not into horses, but occasionally they come and watch my events. I wouldn't have a nice barn for my horses and arena with lights if it weren't for them!!
