Hi my name is Denise Vessey

I have been drilling since the spring of 1981. I started out on the Trails Challengers, and then helped to create the Silverado’s and then was the original member to create the best team of all American Made Rodeo Drill Team in 1996. I was the drillmaster and Captain on the Silverado’s and American Made for approximately 20 years until my daughter Anna has become very busy and active with her horses doing both JR Rodeo and High School Rodeo. So I have given up the drill team reins to others and have become a non rider at this time!

I have to admit, I love the most being a cheer leader and groom for my daughter and watching her live her dreams and ride like the wind! I am so very proud of her and horsemanship. She is a beautiful rider.

I live in Rochester on 30 acres, with horses, cows, goats, rabbits, cats and of course our fun dogs, Roper & Katie Sue.

I am married to Steve Vessey, a great man that holds our family all together and gets us where we need to be each and every day. He is a great father to Anna, we are both very lucky to have such a great guy in our lives.

I work for the state for about 28 years, will retire when I am 55.

American Made has been the best team and I have many long friendships from drill. It has been fun traveling around the NW with this team, we all have many great memories! I wish them all the luck in the future !
