Hey!  My name is Kelli Delaney, I joined the team in 2009 and this is my 3rd season riding with the American Made Rodeo Drill team and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!

My drill horse, Sassy, is an 11 year old quarter horser mare.  She is an awesome horse to ride and just be around.  Her favorite passtime, when she isn't being ridden, is eating (something she enjoys to the fullest).  Together we have done drill, trail riding, sorting and ranch work.  She knows when she has a job to do and enjoys performing.

In 2010 the team voted me on as Team Captain, and boy was that an eye opener!  There is a lot that goes into making the team work, and organizing events - I have a new respect for Denise (who, before me, had held the position for years).  She has passed the torch, and an abundance of responsibility to myself and Jenelle, our Vice Captain.  I know I can speak for both of us when I say we are working our butts off to do the job she did!  thank you to all the officers for all your hard work... it really does take a village...
 

We have a great team of gals who are awesome to ride with and just be around.  I am so proud of the way our team works together and that we all share a competitive spirit and love performing.  I couldn’t ask for a better group of gals to compete with!

 

When I am not at drill (or work) I am spending time with my fiancé Todd, who is very supportive of my love of horses and drill.   I couldn’t do it without him!  He is new to riding but is really catching on quick.  We are getting married this year so between drill and planning a wedding I am sure this will prove to be a busy year!!
