Hi! My name Is Leicey Apeland and this is my first year on the American Made Rodeo Drill Team.  I have been riding horses since I was just a little kid.  In fact, horseback riding was one of the first things I learned to do when I joined the circus after I ran away from home at two years old.  There are many similarities to circus riding and drill riding.  When I turned ten I started working with the elephants and continued until my early twenties when I fell in love with the Bo Bo the Clown and we decided to leave the circus and settle down and start a family.  The reason why I decided to join drill was because it reminded me so much my childhood with the circus, and the girls remind me so much of the circus people I grew up with!

So come check us out this summer at the parades and rodeo's around Washington and look for me!  (I'll probably be the one in a leotard throwing peanuts to the crowd!)
