STACY BRADY
 TEAM SECRETARY

Hi Y’all

I’m Stacy Brady and proud to be an American Made Rodeo Drill Team member.  I joined the team back in 1999 (how the years fly).  I love what our team stands for & we proudly carry the Red, White & Blue everywhere we go.  Being patriotic, I couldn’t have joined a more American spirited team.  It brings me such joy to have the veteran’s salute us at our performances; I always make sure to acknowledge them as they are the reason we live freely in this great country.

Our team has created a family within itself.  We are a very close-knit group of ladies who support one another in our personal lives while encouraging each other to be the best we can while riding our horses.  My team mates are dedicated to the sport of drill.  Many ride their horses daily, take riding lessons and have their horses in training to further their potential.  I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be on this team.

My husband Dan & I are still happily married and will have our six year anniversary June 5th.  We don’t have any children but our animals are our “kids”.  Dan is very supportive of my drill team responsibilities & also helps me feed my ponies (even though I can’t get him to ride one).  He is a huge help to this very committed sport of drill that we all love so much.  We enjoy camping & riding our quads whether it’s in the forest or at the Oregon dunes.  We are also huge NASCAR fans!  I am also a roller derby girl with the Underground Derby League (UDL).  Last May I got my left shoulder dislocated during a competition bout, which left me in a sling for about a month and extensive physical therapy for 6 months.  Having the dislocated shoulder didn’t stop me from performing on my horse at the Roy Rodeo 3 weeks later – I couldn’t let down my team!!!

My parents are a HUGE part of my drill team practices & performances.  Mom is at practice with me every week riding her horse while we drill in the main arena.  My Dad stops by periodically to watch us ride & flirt with the girls!  Dad & Mom are always more than willing to help the team out when the need arises.  They show up at all our parades to offer support and help with getting the horses ready.  Thank you Mom & Dad for all you do!  I love you both dearly!!!

In my opinion, I feel that I have joined the best drill team in the West.  I couldn’t ask for better friends, sponsors and acquaintances that I have met along the way in our drill team journey.  And this is only the beginning… Happy Trails!
